As a partner, Nick heads up the B2B division at Black Twig. He is a versatile writer who can efficiently learn and develop original content on a variety of topics.
Nick works with experts to internalize complex concepts, repurpose these concepts as marketing content and position the experts as thought leaders in their respective industries. This is all done while staying on point with an established brand strategy.
Although he is focused on research and strategic communication planning, Nick is an expert in media relations and community relations particularly with business-to-business marketing disciplines working with Valin Corporation, McClure Engineering, WB Industries, IWR North America and The Missouri Partnership.
Before joining Black Twig Marketing + Communications in 2010, Nick worked as an account executive for I Salsman PR where he was responsible for content and client strategy development.
Before becoming a partner at Black Twig in 2016, Nick cut his teeth with Black Twig on a variety of client accounts, ran the internship program for a time and developed his skills to emerge as the head writer at the agency.
Nick holds a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations from Southeast Missouri State University and earned his MBA from Webster University.
Nick has volunteered his time at a number of community events and has served as a board member for the Greater St. Louis Area Council Boy Scouts of America.
