The Highland Arts Council again partnered with Black Twig this year to plan and promote their annual Art in the Park. Held October 8-9, 2011, in Highland, Ill., this year’s event hosted more than 70 artists and chefs from around Illinois and the St. Louis metro area who showed off their skills and wares.
Attendance at this year’s event increased to an estimated 9,000 total attendees, up from 8,000 during the 2010 Art in the Park. Black Twig coordinated a variety of promotional media leading up to the event, which included placements on top local St. Louis news stations: KSDK, Fox2 and KMOV.
